A special weekend

Got to play golf this weekend with Scott. We had fun. Scott had not played in nearly a year. He still got game. He doesn't realize the talent he has. Most golfers would give a lot to have his swing and distance. Our daughter in law was able to join us as well. It always fun to have the family together all or some. We continue planning our trip to Alaska. Time is passing quickly. Soon it will be time to leave. We are excited about the trip and look forward to all the adventures. We continue to add places and sights to visit. We will keep you posted. Have a great week. Remember life is shorter than you can image. So make every second count. Hug your family and friends often and let them know how much you care and love having them in your life

Closing of the day

Sunday was beautiful here in Texas today. Near 80 degrees. Quite windy. The steak and beans tournament held at the Cedar Creek Country Club was fun. The beans were great. Does that tell you what team I was on. The setting sun is one of my favorite times of the day. Enjoy!

Another day in paradise

Beautiful day at the lake. It's spring time Texas. The blue bonnets are in full bloom. Good day on the golf course. We played well enough the split the points. Tomorrows another day.

Started a blog today so we can begin documenting our adventures.  We are departing for Alaska this summer and want to  share the journey with friends and family.
